Till then, happy shooting…!
Hello,
I have already seen you taking these great photos and realized the presence of Zuiko 90. Would ypu be able to compare it versus newest macro Zuiko 60 2.8? I wonder if someone having 60 2.8 would benefit from 90/2.
Looking forward to hear your insights…
As you are aware, the Zuiko OM 90/2 is a manual lens. So at one point, you won’t be having the benefits of superb autofocus speed and accuracy if using it with the OM-D, as oppose to the latest M.ZD 60/2.8. And it is actually quite a heavy lens to pair with a lighter system of micro Four-Thirds.
But personally, I find that this lens is a great medium telephoto lens that really perform wide open (at f/2.0) and thus you will get the 1-stop advantage when using it. And if I were into macro again extensively, I prefer a manual lens with a longer focal length to shoot.
Just to mention again, the M.ZD 60/2.8 is THE best macro lens to date for the micro Four-Thirds.
Thanks and hope this will help you
