E30 + EX-25 + ZD 50mm f/2
f/13 | ISO 100 | 1/250s | Amir Ridhwan
This mother huntsman spider was photographed at night in a forest trail. I had the EX-25 attached to my ZD 50mm f/2 but the spider was so big that if I were to use the minimal focusing distance it would not show the whole spider together with her egg sac. I stepped back a little to allow the maximum focusing distance with the EX-25 such that as much story can be fitted into the composition. A single Cybertik MZ45 flash was fired from left to give a slightly uneven lighting.
